25 Years in the Making
The Beginning
Three brothers — Jose, Carlos, and Mario Salman — open Mojitos Cuban Cuisine at Dolphin Mall. A small restaurant with a big dream: authentic Cuban food, world-class mojitos, and live music that makes you move.
A New Chapter
With a loyal following and a reputation for the best mojitos in Miami, the brothers begin planning something bigger. Mojitos Calle 8, Inc. is formed.
The Blue Building
Mojitos finds its permanent home — a striking blue building at 8000 SW 8th Street on the iconic Calle Ocho. The oversized double doors open to reveal a space that celebrates Spanish and Cuban culture.
A Miami Staple
Mojitos earns its place among Miami's essential Cuban restaurants. Four nights of live entertainment every week. The salsa nights become legendary.
